It’s part of NVIDIA’s SN4600 Series based on the Spectrum‑3 ASIC, designed to deliver dense 100 GbE connectivity, rich programmability, and open networking flexibility — enabling disaggregated networking with Cumulus Linux and other open NOS options.

    The Spectrum-3 MSN4600-CS2RC is a 2U open Ethernet switch featuring 64 × QSFP28 ports (supporting full breakout to lower speeds from 10GbE to 200GbE). It delivers up to 12.8 Tb/s switching capacity and 8.4 Bpps forwarding rate — ideal for spine/super-spine, cloud, AI-HPC, and hyperscale data-center fabrics.

    Open Ethernet and disaggregated networking

    The MSN4600-CS2RC supports open networking via ONIE and comes pre-loaded with Cumulus Linux (other open NOS / SONiC compatible), allowing network operators flexibility in software choice, avoiding vendor lock-in, and integrating seamlessly into modern data-center automation workflows.
