PowerVault JBODs are available in three enclosures—MD2412 (2U), MD2424 (2U), and MD2460 (4U)—optimized for high-capacity workloads. Administrators can use iDRAC to monitor and manage each MD model connected to PowerEdge servers, even when the server is powered off. Local and remote management is simplified through web-based or command line interfaces, providing seamless operational control.
Adding external storage to servers ensures that server upgrades and maintenance can occur without data disruption, while maintaining compute performance and keeping data centralized.
PowerVault MD Series offers a range of storage configurations to meet your exact workload requirements, supporting SAS, NL-SAS, and SSD drives. Choose the high-density MD2460 with 60 x 3.5" drive slots, the performance-optimized MD2424 with 24 x 2.5" drive slots, or the low-cost MD2412 with 12 x 3.5" drive slots.
