    The Mellanox Spectrum‑2 MSN3700C Switch (model MSN3700-CS2RC) is a high-performance 100 GbE open Ethernet switch built on NVIDIA’s Spectrum-2 ASIC and designed for demanding data center, cloud, enterprise, and high-performance computing network environments. It’s part of the SN3000 family of Ethernet switches that combine modern hardware, flexible open networking software, rich telemetry, and programmability for scalable Layer-2/Layer-3 fabrics.

    High-performance 100GbE open networking

    The Spectrum-2 MSN3700-CS2RC is a 1U rack-mount 100 GbE open Ethernet switch with 32 × 100GbE QSFP28 ports, fully splittable via breakout cables down to 10/25/40/50/100GbE — offering flexible port configurations and ideal for spine/leaf, cloud, HPC, storage or enterprise fabrics. The switch provides non-blocking performance and shared packet buffer design for predictable throughput and low latency.

    Open Ethernet and disaggregated networking

    The MSN3700C supports open-networking via ONIE, enabling operation with multiple NOS (network operating systems) — including Cumulus Linux and other open NOS — offering full disaggregation, flexibility, and avoidance of vendor lock-in in modern data-center infrastructures.
