Overview
Uvation values our relationship with you and offers the option to return most products purchased directly from Uvation. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns.
Standard Return Period
- 30 days from the date of your invoice
- Returns must be initiated within this period
- A Return Authorization (RA) number is required for all returns
- Returns without an RA number will not be accepted
Eligibility
This return policy applies to direct purchases from Uvation. This policy does not permit returns from:
- Commercial customers who made purchases via Purchase Order
- Customers on payment terms
- Third-party retailer purchases (please contact the original seller)
Return Requirements
- Original packaging
- “As-new” condition
- All original components, accessories, documentation, and media
- Product must be received within 30 days of return authorization
- All returns must be made in the same country as the purchase
Excluded Products
The following items cannot be returned:
- Software, except when:
- Pre-installed on a returnable product within its return period
- On unopened physical media
- Delivered electronically and license not yet accepted
- Non-returnable Products:
- Enterprise-level hardware and solutions
- Custom-configured products
- Volume license software
- Gift cards (except where required by law)
- Special order items
- Third-party software products
Restocking Fees
- No restocking fee will be charged for:
- Defective products
- Returns due to Uvation error
- Consumer purchases for personal use
- A 15% restocking fee may apply to all other approved returns, calculated on the product price excluding shipping and taxes.
Promotional Items and Bundles
- For items purchased as part of a promotion or bundle:
- Return value may be adjusted to account for promotional pricing
- Bundle components must be returned together
- Promotional item value may be deducted if not returned
- Any redeemed rewards or promotional credits may be deducted from refund
Return Process
- Contact Uvation Support to initiate return and obtain RA number
- Prior to return:
- Back up and delete all data
- Remove all confidential information
- Remove added accessories or media not included in original purchase
- Packaging Requirements:
- Use original packaging
- Include all original components and documentation
- Clearly mark RA number on outside of package
- For displays/monitors: original packaging required or equivalent protection
Refunds and Credits
- Refunds will be issued in the original payment method
- Processing time: 15-30 business days after receipt
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- Partial returns may receive adjusted refund based on bundle/promotional pricing
Important Notes
- Uvation is not responsible for:
- Personal data left on returned products
- Lost or damaged removable media included with returns
- Items returned without an RA number
- Shipping damage due to inadequate packaging
- System Integrity:
- Removing or altering factory-installed hardware or software systems may void return eligibility
- System modifications may affect warranty coverage
- Right to Refuse:
- Uvation reserves the right to deny returns for:
- Repeated return attempts
- Policy violations
- Suspected abuse of return privileges
