    The HPE Aruba Networking CX 8320 Switch Series is based on AOS-CX, a modern, database-driven operating system that automates and simplifies many critical and complex network tasks. Delivering complete network configuration and assurance, HPE Aruba Networking AOS-CX key innovations are its microservices-style modular architecture, REST APIs, Python-scripting capabilities, and the HPE Aruba Networking Network Analytics Engine.

     

    A built-in time series database enables customers and developers to utilize software scripts for historical troubleshooting, as well as analysis of past trends. This helps predict and avoid future problems due to scale, security, and performance bottlenecks. AOS‑CX operating system features are organized into HPE Aruba Networking CX Foundational and HPE Aruba Networking CX Advanced software licenses.

     

    Every CX switch includes an active, embedded CX Foundational license at no additional cost with the option to upgrade to a CX Advanced license.

     

    The CX Foundational license has everything needed to deploy, connect, and troubleshoot an enterprise network, including:

    • Dynamic Segmentation
    • Switch Stacking
